Inform: Analyzing school achievement potential

Just for the Kids School Reports present complex data in a way that is fair and actionable. These reports are designed to be the first step leading toward more effective schools and highly achieving students.

Opportunity Gap (OpGap) Reports present every school's potential for improvement ("opportunity gap") by grade and subject. Each school's potential is calculated using comparisons to the schools that are similar, but which are getting better results in academic achievement.

Consistent Performance Reports allow for the study of school and student performance variability across a period of three years.

Growth to College/Career Readiness Reports provide the information needed to move all students, regardless of current skill levels, on track to "college/career readiness."

NCEA is working to enrich JFTK School Reports by promoting longitudinal data systems in all states, through the national Data Quality Campaign. Longitudinal data allow for consideration of prior student achievement levels and consistency of school performance over time.
