ImproveImprove: Intentional and targeted improvement planningNCEA has developed a suite of District and School Services that step districts and schools through the process of using achievement data to analyze progress and drive improvement; compare their current practices with those of higher performers through a consistent framework; and actually convert knowledge to action feeding directly to campus improvement plans. NCEA District and School Services can be used as an outside compass to help school leadership and communities channel their efforts and resources based on the proven practices of our documented Higher Performing Schools. The program is not connected to any specific providers, programs, or products. It is a continuous improvement process that incorporates school data analyses (from many levels) to help schools compare their practices to those of high performers, and connects a mentoring network and protocol process to high performing leaders with districts, schools and teachers in search of ways to improve. Schools and districts in need of improvement can immediately use the JFTK Best Practices Framework online as a starting point to structure plans and improvement strategies. |
